Working with IBM managing global client accounts, we converted a potentially lost multi-million dollar service account to a Gold Status customer who renewed their support contract for an additional three years. This was done using common sense and best practices of systems administration.

Responsible for the migration of a production data center from New Jersey to Massachusetts. The size of the migration was reduced by  20% by applying virtualization and end of life strategies which resulted in an on-time and under budget successful project completion.

Provided technical project management services for a major financial news service. The real time systems department handled service requests from internal and client organizations. All data was live production, therefore effective management and accurate results were critical

 

Responsible for the restructuring of a Product Development Organizations  SAN/NAS storage resources to eliminate wasted storage and optimize Disaster Recovery procedures. The restructuring project saved the company in excess of $1.2 million over a 3 year period.

Providing Senior Project Management  support through a service vendor, we managed a major virtualization of corporation operations in multiple locations including a proof of concept study for Disaster Recovery and Backup service of terabytes of data on a daily basis.
